We stayed for a whole week and enjoyed every moment. As someone who is particular with hotel service, this hotel exceeded our expectations although we came in without expecting much from a 3 star hotel but their service could've easily gotten 4 star. Main reason we booked this hotel simply because it is a stone's throw away from Alhambra. Super convenient and time saving. From the moment we walked through the entrance we were greated cheerily by Pablo. We arrived almost midnight. So it was very appreciated to be greated with warmth and smiles. The restaurant manager (didn't catch his name but he is bald) is a one-man show. I assumed there is a staff in the kitchen while he handles the guests and restocking the food. He was friendly, helpful and very hardworking. I love watching him at work with full integrity. We had a small accident in the bathroom and the night shift staff, Jaime was very kind to assist with the clean up. There was no housekeeping so he took on the role. We were surprised but impressed too. He has been working at the hotel for more than 20 years. It seems he love his job and is very good at it. The rest of the staff(unfortunately we didnt catch their names), helped arrange transportation for our trip to Sierra Nevada and ensuring everything went smoothly. Their team work is palpable through their effective communication. Everything was straightforward with no hiccup thankfully. We enjoyed our trip with the help and unofficial guide by our driver, Fernando. Hiked up 3400+m to Malhacen. A week shy from Ski season. Next time hopefully. The housekeeper too did a good job. We left the hotel very early in the morning and it was a smooth check out. Jaime booked a taxi for us and driver arrive in less than 5 minutes. All in all, thank you so much to team Hotel Crisol Guadalupe. You guys have been super nice and helpful. Till we meet again God willing.

We stayed at Crisol Guadalupe so we could wake up and go to the Alhambra. The hotel is right across from the main entrance and we upgraded our room so we’d have an Alhambra view from our window. We entered the room to see our big bed but the room had a black and white theme instead of the pink we were expecting from the photos. Maybe they’ve renovated? Also the shower was a bit strange with the shower head on a post on the side wall instead of the front. Although the room appeared differently, it was comfortable. And the fact that it was so close to the Alhambra worked out perfectly for us to come back and rest after a full day of exploring the grounds. If you are visiting the area by way of public transportation, like we were, be sure to check which way the bus up the hill is going before you board. We ended up catching it in the wrong direction and lost 30 minutes. The day we left, we opted to have the front desk call us a taxi instead and that worked out perfectly, especially with the rainy weather!

First, Paola who was on duty when we arrived has been so nice and professional. Someone who is doing her job with that passion is a true advantage for customers and for her employer! We'll for sure recommend the hotel to family and friends, no doubt. All other employees have been just great too. Desayunados where excellent, made with fresh and good products. Cherry on the cake, la Alhambra is a walking distance away : to visit la Alhambra or/and the city center we didn't touch the car, just walked and take the bus, recommended by Paola. Granada and la Alhambra are great to visit and we would never have been better the staying at the Crisol Guadalupe! For sure. Thank you all Crisol Guadalupe staff, once again!

Was greeted by very friendly and helpful reception member. Although the national power outage the previous day had slowed down the release of the room, I was able to leave luggage and go into town. The single rooms are more recently restored and had most things in a small area. I only noticed the fridge as I was about to check out, underneath the kettle / coffee tray. View from the window in this particular room was stunning. Bathroom had enough space. Breakfasts there were comprehensive and tasty.

The location was good. It was near Alhambra. We were able to park at the Alhambra carpark at a fee. There was a bus stop nearby where we took a direct bus to Mirador San Nicholas for the best view of Alhambra (+sunset). The property was also walking distance to an alternative entrance to Alhambra that led to the Nazaries Palace (the place that required visitors to enter by the ticketed time). We only stayed one night and was able to leave our luggage at the reception area while we tour Alhambra.
